For the first time since the young generation has taken the helm at the fine particle technology specialist, the NOLL team and its new Managing Director Bettina Noll welcomed visitors at POWTECH. Their stand offered a relaxing experience in sunny »forest bathing« design and, of course, unique innovations to discover.
Visitors turn to NOLL because they are looking for extraordinary engineering solutions for a very specific challenge, explain Sales Director Christian Vochazer and Technical Director Gerd Stiegler: “Solutions they wouldn’t find anywhere else. Our talks with clients focus e.g. on particular target fineness, sustainability, multifunction…we are partners in the exquisite dry processing of polymers, metallurgy, minerals, pigments and foodstuffs.” An inspiring ambience which Senior and company founder Ulf Noll wouldn’t have missed for anything. Flying in from Venice, he, too, joined the team at POWTECH’s most beautiful stand…from sunlight into sunlight.
Multifunction, as easy as 1-2-3: new laboratory system 1050
Smart and easy-to-use design, catching every visitor’s eye: at POWTECH, NOLL’s new multifunctional laboratory system 1050 made its first public appearance. Mobile and ultra-compact, the system gets through any standard door. It features two equipment options, either as dynamic air classifier SeparaNo® 1050 E or as opposed jet mill MultiNo® 1050. It takes just a couple of minutes to change classifier and mill module. User-friendliness has been the principal objective of the system’s construction design, Ulf Noll confirms: “After fractionizing or milling, the fines are directly filled into standard containers, e.g. sample boxes and jars. Samples are immediately ready for storage or applications testing.”
Appreciative looks
Such practical design, so easy to use and clean: NOLL’s 1050 laboratory concept is unprecedented in the compact class. It can be used for R & D, testing and small-quantity production in almost any field, from foodstuffs to metallurgy. At POWTECH, the new system was granted many an appreciative look from NOLL’s co-players on the market.
Particularly energy-efficient: Impact jet mill DemiNo®
In particular great demand these days is impact jet mill DemiNo®. A proven, multi-patented system, available exclusively at NOLL’s. Its unique technology unites pin mill and whirlwind principles in a single machine and helps save an entire processing step: direct grinding, no additional classifier necessary. “Our experience shows that DemiNo®, uniquely configured to specific applications and target products, is not only a superb alternative to other mills”, says Project Manager Nader Fard. “DemiNo® also saves a whole lot of energy. Precisely what everyone needs today.”
Visit NOLL…and then the Oktoberfest!
For NOLL Processing Technology it has been a successful POWTECH appearance, new Managing Director Bettina Noll resumes. Not only because the number of visitors turned out higher than expected: “After those remote-communication years, we have all felt the joy of direct dialogue and personal exchange of ideas.” Only towards the end of the exhibition, attendance seemed to fade away a bit: it wasn’t far to the Oktoberfest in Munich, after all.
